MEET CHIT CHAT

Chit Chat is a 10 year old Paint pony gelding standing a sturdy 14 hands high. He is a favorite amongst our children, their friends, and adults alike! He’s as willing as they come, no matter the rider on his back. This pony has said “yes” to everything we’ve pointed him at; working cattle, trail rides, riding down the road, into town, jumping, hunter paces, and the list goes on! He is a pony clubber’s dream, ready to hit the show ring or 4H club, take him hunting, or just as a reliable horse for the family on the farm. He is kind and gentle enough to step right into a lesson program as well.
In the arena, Chit Chat is simple and straightforward to ride. He goes western, english, and bareback! With the little ones he will go as slow as necessary, being gentle and forgiving. He is just as enjoyable for a more experienced rider, as he will go in a frame, neck rein, back, and schools 1st level dressage tests! Chit Chat will also pop around a small course of jumps, with plenty of scope to go higher if his rider decides to do so. He will also jump natural obstacles such as logs, ditches, banks, and more! He has very comfortable gaits, listens well to his rider, and always tries his hardest to please! He has buttons for the riders who want them, and the quiet mind for riders who just need safe and sound.
On the trails, Chit Chat is happy to be out and exploring! He crosses water, bridges, roads, and everything in between. He is safe with traffic, rides alone or in a group, and is happy leading or following. We have ridden Chit Chat all over the farm, into town, and on local hunter paces. He is stocky enough for parents and other adults to take out, yet he is of course gentle enough for the kiddos to safely hack out on. Chit Chat spent a good bit of time working on a ranch, moving cattle, checking fence, and babysitting the kids who rode along with their parents.
In the barn, Chit Chat is friendly and personable. He enjoys getting attention from the children, being groomed, and bathed. He is polite and respectful on the crossties and in his stall. Chit Chat is happy living inside, or out in a mixed herd or mares and geldings.
